Healthy Barbeque Pulled Pork

This BBQ pulled pork is the perfect healthy high-protein dish, and  the pork is so tender, it falls apart.  We used our homemade barbeque sauce because store bought barbecue sauce is usually loaded with sugar! Ours is low in sugar and tastes great. It’s so easy to make – just combine all the ingredients and throw it in the slow cooker. This is a recipe that’s great all year round, and we hope it’s as much of a hit in your family as it is in ours!

 Healthy BBQ Pulled Pork

Makes 5 (4 oz) servings

  • 20 oz pork tenderloin
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey mustard
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 packets stevia
  • salt and pepper, to taste
Place pork tenderloin in your slow cooker. Mix all other ingredients and pour over your pork. Cook on low heat for 3 – 3.5 hours. Serve on a sandwich thin, over lettuce, or with veggies. Enjoy!
