BBQ Chicken Pizza

Growing up, pizza was a go-to meal for our family. Our parents were usually tired after work and there’s nothing easier than picking up the phone and having it delivered hassle-free. Our sister, Lindsay, worked at a local pizza place too, and one perk of her working there was that she got to bring home pizzas for free. One day she came up with her own BBQ pizza recipe – a cheese-less pizza with BBQ sauce, onions and feta cheese. We immediately fell in love. For whatever reason, this combination really stuck with us and we’ve always had a sweet spot for BBQ pizza, which inspired this delicious healthier alternative. Try it out this weekend with the family! 🙂

BBQ Chicken Pizza

 Makes 1 serving

  • 1 low carb wrap (we used La Tortilla)
  • 2 oz shredded chicken breast
  • 1 tbs BBQ sauce (look for a low sugar one or try making our homemade recipe)
  • 1-2 tbs chopped onion
  • 1/8 cup part-skim mozzarella cheese
  • optional: 1 tbs feta cheese

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a baking sheet with nonstick spray. Place your wrap on your baking sheet and spread your BBQ sauce on top. Then top with your chicken, onion and cheese. Bake for 10-12 minute and broil for an additional 2-3 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Enjoy!
