Pumpkin Pie Milkshake

We don’t know about you but we love the start of the fall season because that means pumpkins galore!  So now that it’s officially fall, there’s no better way to start off your day than by enjoying this giant pumpkin protein shake! This tasty treat tastes exactly like a piece of pumpkin pie, but it’s loaded with protein and has no added sugar or grains. Plus it has the added bonus of having 6 grams of fiber! So go ahead a blend up a few for the whole family!

Pumpkin Pie Milkshake

  • 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk (or water)
  • 1 cup ice
  • 3/4 cup of cottage cheese*
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp xanthan gum**
  • stevia to taste

*don’t let the cottage cheese scare you, we promise you won’t taste it, but this is what makes it a milkshake consistency!

** do not omit, this is what makes your shake nice and thick!

 

Place all ingredients in a blender and blend well! Top with your favorite whipped topping!
