Italian Turkey Stuffed Bell Peppers

Italian Turkey Stuffed Bell Peppers

  • 16 oz lean ground turkey
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 3 tbs tomato paste
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 cup mushrooms, chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, diced
  • 2 cups spinach
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 bell peppers

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a medium pan, brown turkey. Add all other ingredients except the bell peppers and let cook until soft. Cut the tops off the bell pepper and clean out the insides. Spoon turkey mixture into the bell peppers and bake for 12-15 minutes.
