Skinny Spinach Artichoke Dip
This spinach artichoke dip is a staple in our family! In fact, our mom requests we make it every time we come to visit.
And it’s no wonder because it’s so creamy and delicious no one will even know it’s a “skinny” recipe.
Plus, it’s so easy to make and it’s the best snack to hold you over until it’s time to eat so you don’t overindulge. We serve this at all of our gatherings, and it is gone in about 10 minutes!
This dip is great with fresh veggies, pita chips, crackers, toasted whole grain bread, or even on top of grilled chicken breast.
Skinny Spinach Artichoke Dip
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 10 oz bag of frozen spinach, thawed
- 1/4 cup light sour cream (or fat free greek yogurt)
- 1 14oz can of artichoke hearts, chopped
- 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tsp garlic powder
In a medium bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream and parmesan cheese until well combined and set aside. Place thawed spinach in a colander and press excess water out with a paper towel. Add your spinach and artichokes to the cream cheese mixture and mix well. Add your salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Serve warm (heat in oven at 350 for 8-10 minutes or microwave for 5 minutes)!
