3 Ways to Stay Motivated

1) Create a mantra
 
Some days you are going to feel like working out and others you aren’t going to feel like eating “clean” – that’s normal! A healthy lifestyle is about consistency, not an obsession trying to be 100% perfect.
 
Create a personal mantra you can repeat to yourself when you’re feeling down, unmotivated, tired, or just in a funk. Repeat it to yourself over and over again until you believe in it!
 
Some examples:
“I’m in it to WIN it!”
“Progress, not perfection”
“Obstacles are just hurdles to overcome”
“I don’t ‘have to,’ I ‘GET’ to!”
“I am not tired”
“I like myself!”

2) Express gratitude
 
It’s easy to get caught up in your own thoughts about everything you have to get done, and it’s even easier to listen to that negative voice in your head telling you that you can’t do it. 
 
Starting tomorrow, take 5 minutes in the morning before you jump out of bed and 5 minutes before you close your eyes at night to practice gratitude, silently listing off all the things you are thankful for in your life. 
 
Even better, tell someone in your life how grateful you are for THEM! We often think great things about other people, but never bother to tell them. 
 
This is a great way to stay positive and motivated for the rest of your life. Love those around you and they will return the same love <3
